The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is a AAA 5 Diamond Resort situated just north of Scottsdale next to the TPC Scottsdale Golf Course. For those looking for an upscale experience with all the facilities and amenities you would expect of a five star resort then this is a great choice.
Accommodation
There are 649 guest rooms offering 525 sq.ft. of deluxe accommodation with views of the resort gardens, courtyards and Princess Plaza from the patio. All rooms offer wireless internet access, spacious bathrooms with large dressing areas, separate oversized tub and shower. Well appointed bedroom and living areas with 1 king or 2 double beds, refreshment centre and wet bar.
There are a range of suites starting with the 850 sq.ft. Casita Suites which offer 1 king or 2 double beds with limited garden view or you can upgrade to a golf course or lagoon view. The 925 sq.ft. Cholla Suites have 1 king bed and offer views of the south pool or Princess Plaza. For those looking for just that bit more space and luxury there are the 1150 sq.ft. Master Suites, 2100 sq.ft. Center Master Suites or the 3150 sq.ft. Presidential Suite.
There are also 69 Fairmont Gold Rooms ranging from the 600sq.ft. Junior Suite to the 1500 sq.ft. master suites. Guests staying in Gold Rooms benefit from access to the 2,100 sq.ft. Fairmont Gold Lounge providing complimentary computers, newspapers and magazines as well as coffee, tea and hors d’oeuvres, served between 4:30 and 6pm. There is also a continental breakfast served between 6:30 and 10:30am.
There are a wide range of amenities including five swimming pools, 7 tennis courts and the Well Being at Willow Stream spa and wellness centre.
Dining
As you would expect from an upscale resort there are a number of dining options on-site. La Hacienda is an award winning Mexican restaurant. Bourbon Steak is an upscale steakhouse while the main dining room at the Fairmont is the Ironwood American Kitchen.
For signature cocktails you can retreat to the indoor/outdoor Plaza Bar and there are full service poolside bars at the South Pool, Sonoran Splash and East Pool.
In room dining is also available on request.
Golf
The resort borders the 36 hole TPC Scottsdale golf facility and we can book you on either of their courses on request. Our own opinion is that the TPC is not really a desert course and pretty much any of our featured courses will give you a much better golfing experience both in terms of the quality and preparation of the golf course and the level of service you will recieve.

Kierland Commons and Promenade Shopping Centre
The resort shuttle will take you anywhere within 5 miles of the resort which includes Kierland Commons which is the premier shopping and dining centre in the north Scottsdale area offering a wide choice of cuisine including steakhouses, sushi, Chinese, bistros, desserts, ice cream and coffee bars.
Further shopping and dining can be found a few blocks north of Kierland Commons at the Promenade Shopping Centre.
