There is one golf clubhouse which serves both courses, Palmetto and Pine Hills. The clubhouse serves breakfast and lunch. Each villa complex has its own outdoor pool plus there jacuzzis, a lazy river, exercise facility, tennis courts and group pavilions with BBQ areas.
The accommodation consists of a wide range of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom villas. They are spacious, well equipped, with patio or balcony, many with golf course views. The villas are privately owned so furnishings vary but in our experience they are maintained and furnished to a high standard. Daily or mid week housekeeping options are available at extra cost.
There are no evening dining options on-site so you are reliant on a short drive or taxi ride to Broadway at the Beach which is just a couple of minutes away. There is a free Broadway shuttle service which runs from Myrtlewood but this only operates during the day.
Golf
The Palmetto and Pine Hills golf courses on site are two of the standard golf courses in our National Golf Management package. Both courses are very playable with wide fairways so make good opening day rounds if you are staying on the resort.
Broadway at the Beach
Broadway is the premier shopping, dining and entertainment centre in the Myrtle Beach area with many restaurants, bars and nightclubs to choose from and Fairfield Inn is just across the street at the north end of Broadway on 29th Avenue so guests can walk out in the evening and enjoy the abundance of dining options.
